Making the most of your festival experience

Whether you are seasoned OM’ie or you’re joining us for the first time, we hope the following information will answer many questions and ensure your festival experience is smooth and easy.

The West Mountain Inn Om Festival Checkin

CHECK IN & GETTING SITUATED

  • Please bring your pass confirmation (paper copy or electronic) to check-in. If you forget, no worries, just tell us your name and we will check you in.

    Registration will begin the Thursday of the festival at the West Mountain Inn. After Thursday, you can also check in all weekend just come and see us at the Om Festival Check In Desk inside the West Mountain Inn.

  • For ease of keeping up with your schedule and all festival happenings, download the Sched app to your phone and search for The Om Festival. Once you find The Om Festival, log in to your account where you can view the full schedule or toggle to view "My Sched" at the top of the page. You are also able to print your schedule as well if you do not have a smartphone.

  • Please allow the students from the last class to exit before you enter the class. Check-in with our volunteers and allow yourself time to get settled. Some classes will be very full with little space between mats, so thank you in advance for being flexible as we make space for everyone.

    All sessions have a limited capacity. If you are on a waitlist for a class or are attending on a space-available basis, you will be allowed admission 5 minutes prior to the session beginning if there is room.

Parking & Getting Around

  • There is very limited parking on site. All attendees driving a car will have to purchase a parking pass. We encourage you to car pool together and walk to the festival. The majority of the parking spots are at the bottom of the hill.

  • Once you are at West Mountain Inn you have access to all of the classes and workshops. We have done our best to create the smallest footprint possible, as well as allow ample time between classes for easy transitions. Depending on your schedule, you will have anywhere from 30-60 minutes between sessions. We always suggest you make time in your schedule to rest, nourish your body, and enjoy Vermont. Please familiarize yourself with the festival map for the location of the venues. If you have any questions about moving between venues, please let us know. Note ~ locations are subject to change ~ stay up-to-date on your SCHED app as this is in real time.

  • The following are venues that we have used in the past for the festival. The majority of our classes are held at West Mountain Inn. These venues are subject to change.

    The Pond - This is off site at our neighbors near the West Mountain Inn.

  • All hikes will meet inside the Inn at the front desk. Gather here and meet your guide and then you can coordinate car poolng if needed for your specific hike.

PACKING & PREPARATION

  • For your convenience and comfort, please bring your yoga mat, water bottle, comfortable clothing, and any props you need for your practice (straps, blocks, bolsters). Other essential items ~ good walking shoes, a journal, sunscreen, a hat, snacks, a light jacket or wrap, tube, a joyful spirit, and an open heart!

  • July in the Vermont mountains offers warm, golden days and cool, peaceful nights, with lush green landscapes and gentle mountain breezes. Expect daytime highs in the 70s–80s°F with the occasional summer rain shower.

  • The closest airport is Albany International Airport, Code ALB and it is about 75 min away from The Om Festival.

    We recommend that you rent a car as there are very limited Uer/Lyft options.

ADDITIONAL INFO

  • Thank you for helping us keep it green and clean by bringing your own water bottle. We will have cold mountain water available. We also have Om water bottles for sale. Get your Om swag!

  • All lost items will be held at the Om check-in desk.
