Sam Grout is a sixth-generation Vermonter, yogi, techie, and mindfulness educator dedicated to helping people Unplug & Unwind. She is the founder of Yoga Fun Day and Mountain Gurl.
Sam holds a BS and MBA from the University of Vermont and brings 10+ years of experience producing yoga festivals, wellness retreats, open source events, and major tech conferences nationwide. She has worked with organizations including Wanderlust, Stratton Mountain Resort, Equinox Resort, GE, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and more.
A retreat leader and national speaker on Emotional Intelligence, Sam has taught corporate yoga across the U.S. and continues to blend wellness, leadership, and technology in all she does.
She is thrilled to be the original Founder of The OM Festival and return to her hometown of Arlington, Vermont for its 4th annual celebration.

Amie Emmons is an Arlington, Vermont native and owner of the West Mountain Inn. She is delighted to be one of the Co-Founders of The OM Festival and bring this festival back to Arlington, Vermont in Summer 2026.

Goddess of Creation
Sarah grew up in Arlington, Vermont where the Om Festival is hosted. She has lived all over the USA, but her roots are still in the green mountains. Sarah is an accomplished Writer/Designer whose focus is on natural health and alternative healing information.
Having graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2000, Sarah has worked in her industry for the last 24 years honing her skills and considers herself a visual translationist for her clients as well as a non-wavering voice of truth and force for good in the world.
Sarah’s interest in natural health, healing, meditation, spirituality, and yoga began at birth, being born to a mother who was far ahead of her time – an intuitive and an herbalist. Sarah’s awakening and self-awareness journey has mostly been a personal one in peeling away her own layers over the years through a mix of modalities and experiences.
It is this journey that has landed her back in contact with her good friend from elementary and high school, the founder of OM, Samantha Grout.
Having reconnected they realized they are on the same path to help uplift the planetary vibration by assisting people in finding their tribe through festivals and events such as OM. They fully believe – If we build it – They will come.
…and here we are! Year four of the now Annual Om Festival!
