"KRISTEN AMBROSI, RYT-500, E-RYT 200, YACEP
Nourished by the profound simplicity and transformative nature of yoga, Kristen Ambrosi guides practices to center the body, connect with the breath, create space within, and cultivate the tools to navigate the journey of life.
For two decades, Kristen has immersed in a comprehensive array of yoga styles, studying with numerous master teachers to inform and inspire her own evolution as a practitioner and instructor of yoga and meditation. Inspired by the interconnectedness of all beings and the integration of mind, body and spirit, Kristen encourages mindful practice exploring our relationship with strength and softness, resistance and receptivity.
Guiding movement and stillness, mantra and silence, Kristen brings enthusiasm and knowledge to her group classes, private sessions, workshops, and retreats. Through skillful sequencing and alignment-based instruction, Kristen blends attention with intention, providing a welcoming, safe practice for all.
Dedicated to the experience of yoga as union, Kristen aims to weave together a peaceful heart and quiet mind with the balanced energy of an aligned body, trusting that a harmonious practice on the mat has the potential to translate into wholeness off the mat.
Welcomed for her warm presence and moving vocals, Kristen has been invited to studios and festivals to lead the call-and-response practice of kirtan. Kristen is a harmonium and chanting instructor, Blessingway facilitator, and regular program assistant for her respected restorative teacher, Jillian Pransky. A contemplative painter of contemporary art, Kristen creates commissions and collections honoring the fullness of human experience; her work has been frequently exhibited and is in collections both nationally and abroad. A mother of three beautiful beings, Kristen currently resides in coastal Connecticut between the woods and the water."
